“The first trailer that we purchased from AJ’s was a 12 foot E-Z Dumper. Greg was our salesman, and he helped us with selecting the proper trailer to haul our New Holland tractor and complete other odd jobs like hauling coal, stone, etc. After we took delivery of our trailer, Randy from service was always there to help us with our maintenance needs. The next trailer we purchased from AJ’s was for our 1969 Dodge Charger. I had just finished a lengthy restoration project on the Charger, and we were looking to hit the road and show it with the AACA (Antique Automobile Club of America). I faithfully spend time every year at Spring/Fall Carlisle and Hershey looking for car parts. While I was at these events I looked at the car trailers, and it was always the same story-they didn’t have what I was looking for or they couldn’t give me a price right away and I would have to drive some distance to pick up the trailer after all that aggravation, I like to look around when buying and compare quality, service, and price. The car flea market gave me a good start but wasn’t a very good option. My next stop was AJ’s. I had a good idea what I wanted, a trailer that I could haul and store my 1969 Charger in and occasionally haul my 1951 Dodge Pickup. JR recommended adding 6” to the overall height of a standard Car Mate trailer to accommodate the 51 Dodge. I also opted for the smooth sides (no Rivets), front cabinets, internal locking right front door, torque flex axles with larger wheels and tires and a larger left side escape door. I knew I would get excellent service after the sale from AJ’s and the price that JR quoted us was comparable to those flea market prices. What really sold me on Car Mate was the quality/workmanship and the fact that it is built in Clarion, Pennsylvania. JR arranged a tour of the Car Mate factory for my family, and we had a great time watching them build different types of trailers and most of all car trailers. We took delivery of our Car Mate from AJ’s, and the service has been outstanding. We made our first long trip to New Bern, North Carolina, with our Car Mate and Charger and we won our AACA Senior Award with the Charger. Our Car Mate from AJ’s picked up some good compliments too. We recommend AJ’s trailer sales for all your towing needs, and we look forward to dealing with them in the future. I would also like to add that AJ’s is a dedicated supporter of local wrestling, football and other high school sports. Thank you AJ’s for contributing to the local youth programs. Thanks again! VW”

“I was traveling on I81 North, towing a trailer when one of the tires on my trailer blew out. Pieces of rubber went everywhere and I was forced to pull over along the side of the highway. A car that was passing by stopped and asked if I needed help. I did not have a spare tire so I asked if he knew of anyone close by that could change my tire and sell me a spare.
